The Nizwa Hospital expansion detailed layout has been developed according the international standards and guidelines on healthcare facilities. At the same time the rehabilitation and the construction of the new building moved from the existing structure ensuring the continuity and functionality of the overall hospital. The Project intends to provide design of excellence for the hospital and surrounding environment.
To comply with built environment, traditional architectural features and forms are selected for the design of the new buildings. However, according to deal of constant updating, they are translated to state-of-the-art technology and they are used in an original way. The most evident are the sunscreen. The functionality and efficiency of the hospital are ensured by different services and buildings, their layout and their mutual connections, involved to arrange a fully functional mechanism.+
